Mr. & Mrs. Show Productions presents “Marriage is Murder”:

Paul & Polly Butler write murder mysteries together…at least they did until they divorced eighteen months ago.  They reluctantly reunite to write one more book with their literary co-creation, super sleuth Charlotte Hayakawa, a.k.a. Miss Charlie.  To give their lurid tales realism, they act out the dastardly crimes on one another in detail.  How real will their ‘acting’ be?

Poisoned chocolates, lethal martinis, daggers, guns, and even an axe all contribute to the fast-paced bickerign and backstabbling hilarity.  Add a real murder to the final scene and you have a formula for laughs that is “elementary, my dear Watson.”  Which Butler did it?

This murderously funny romantic comedy features the real-life husband and wife duo of  Michael & Amber Showalter.

The evening starts with your choice of meals from our own kitchen:  Choose from baked haddock, bacon-wrapped beef tenderloin, or chicken cordon bleu.  Each meal is served with a fresh baked potato and vegetables, and is finished off with our famous bread pudding in our special brandy butter sauce.

After dinner, sit back with a bottle of wine from our wine list, or a cocktail from the bar and enjoy an evening of live entertainment.   A fine dinner and live entertainment… What could be more romantic than that?

Opening day was cold and cloudy–and still too early for any fresh local vegetables, but there were still vendors selling crafts, meats, and other items.  As the season progresss, and more fresh vegetables ripen, the market will grow.  Stop out any Friday through October and see what the local farmers and artists have to offer.  Then come inside and have a traditional Wisconsin fish fry.
